The mission of foundation
Encourage the development of socially active and socially responsible community in Latvia and take care of disadvantaged part of society.
Aims:
- encouragement of civil society;
- charity projects;
- encouragement of education, science and culture;
- encouragement of youth healthy way of living and sport activities;
- improvement of living conditions and social welfare of indigent and disadvantaged groups of society.

Non governmental organization (NGO) "Foundation for Society" was founded to promote socially active and responsible society. It aims to support the poor and socially vulnerable groups of people by increasing their welfare. The aims of the foundation are achieved by developing educational, social and cultural projects. One of the priorities is to develop educational projects, for instance, a project that helps adults to attend free language, accounting or project management courses. The foundation also involves consultants who have professional experience in various fields - business, tourism, education and social activities. At present, the foundation organizes meetings for consultants and young people who want to become socially active Latvian and European citizens and wish to acquire new knowledge and improve their skills to meet to labor market needs.
