First Meeting of International Cooperation Project Let's Do It Better in Italy

The representatives of the Foundation for Society Marta Kaprāle and Ginta Salmiņa visited Genova, Italy within the framework of Grundtvig international cooperation project Let's Do It Better.

system/application/uploads/image/Dzenova_ista.jpgOne of the aims of the project is to facilitate involvement of young people from socially underprotected groups into the society. In order to achieve the aim, various activities are to be organized for youngsters, including seminars and meetings with representatives of organizations which work with these groups.

There were also two representatives from Riga municipal orphanage joining the foundation representatives during the visit. The young people of the orphanage are direct target audience of the project and they are also to be involved in the project. These youngsters are the ones who really need help when starting their employment or study process outside their orphanage.

system/application/uploads/image/Dzenova_ista2.JPGConsidering this was the first meeting within the framework of the international project, the course of the project was planned which includes tasks and activities to be done for each organization involved. All the participants attended different exhibitions that work with young people.
